What is a MRT

  A " MRT is a master roommate tenant" the primary renter who signs the original lease with the property owner. They bring in roommates (subtenants) who are not on the main lease. The master roommate tenant acts as the landlord to the subtenants, roommates collecting their rent and remaining solely responsible to the property owner.
